Vince Banks then defeated Scaletta 269-191 and Anthony Moauro 240-201 to advance to the title match against Taylor. Banks started the championship match with a turkey but Taylor did him one better as he started with a 4-bagger to open a commanding lead. Banks turkeyed again in frames 7-9 but it wasn't enough, as Taylor stayed clean to win by the final score of 257-209.
