*** WILSON WINS AT THUNDERBIRD ***

Jim Wilson won his first ABT Classic title by defeating Joseph King II 233-176 at Thunderbird Lanes. Ralph Bloemker opened the stepladder finals by defeating Bernie McStay 195-171. Bloemker then eliminated Bill Smith 217-193 before falling to King 217-175. Jim Wilson started the championship match with a 5-bagger and Joe King II was never able to recover as Wilson raced to the final 233-176 victory.

Champion's Profile: Jim Wilson is 27 years old and employed as a Service Advisor at Bill Sullivan Pontiac. He is married to Erianna and has been bowling on and off for about 17 years. Jim has a high game of 242 and a 618 high series as his personal bests. He was using a Columbia Mass Chaos and a Storm El Nino drilled by Lynn Corey at Star Pro Shop in Addison. Jim said that Bobby Bass has been helping him to improve his game. Jim thanked Bobby Bass, Lynn Corey, and all his friends and family for their support. He also thanked the ABT and Thunderbird for having the event. Jim said his winnings would be used to pay bills, especially the MasterCard charges from all his ABT entries.

CONGRATULATIONS JIM!
