Joe qualified 8th for the top 8 finals, then advanced by defeating Harold Morton 264-192 and Dan Sloan 237-235. Mike qualified 5th for the finals and he advanced with victories over Jay Hess 277-271 and Hank Duncan 222-221. In the championship match, Mike couldn't find the carry he had earlier while Joe struck 9 times to pull away to the convincing 257-174 final score.

Joe has a high game of 300 and a 736 high series to his credit. He was using an AMF Night Hawk SPT drilled by Rick Rechter. Joe said that his teammates at school have helped him to improve his game. Joe thanked his parents for all their support and the ABT and Brunswick Zone for a well-run tournament. Joe said that his winnings would be used to buy some new equipment and pay some bills.

CONGRATULATIONS JOe!
