Jim Tostrud, Jr. won his first ABT Masters title with a 236-223 victory over Jay Bolin at Woodfield Lanes. Brian Metrick opened the stepladder finals by defeating Rich DeWitt 232-231 and Jim Fishman 260-210. Jay Bolin then eliminated Metrick 307-250 to advance to the title match against top seed Jim Tostrud, Jr. The championship match went back and forth, but Tostrud finally put it away with a double in frames 9 and 10.

Champion's Profile: Jim Tostrud, Jr. is 28 years old and single. He is employed as a Forklift Operator for Kiloti. Jim has been bowling for 23 years and currently bowls league at Blue Mound Bowl. He has a high game of 300 and a 794 high series to his credit. Jim was using a Bonanza Enforcer drilled by Ed Seliga. He credits his dad, Jim Sr., and Dwight Bergner for coaching him and helping him to make adjustments. Jim thanked Dustin Toth for his support this week, Ed Seliga for drilling his equipment, and the ABT and Woodfield Lanes for holding the tournament. His winnings will be used for the ABT Nationals in Vegas and the ABC Nationals in Reno.

CONGRATULATIONS Jim!

Tournament Notes: Congratulations to Michael Hugh and Chris Zoellner who split $500 for breaking a 295 pot in the same game. This week's winners in our Storm raffle were Jim Korzeniowski and Ralph Bloemker.
