Jeff Rakowski rolled a 699 handicap series in our Sweeper at Sunset Bowl to earn his second ABT Classic title. Jeff put together games of 219, 264, and 216 to beat runner-up Chuck Peters by nine pins.
Champion's Profile: Jeff Rakowski is 46 years old and employed as a Manager for Siemens Medical Systems. He is married to Becky and they have three children: Dave, Sandy, and Tom. Jeff has been bowling for about 40 years and currently bowls league at Arlington Heights Lanes. He has a high game of 279 and a high series of 719 to his credit. Jeff was rolling a Track Assassin drilled by G. W. Gregg. He credits his son, Dave, as having helped him to improve his game. Jeff thanked his wife for her support, the ABT for having the tournament, and Sunset Bowl for a great shot. Jeff said his winnings would be turned over to his wife, letting her decide how to spend the money.
