Mark Clark survived the match play semifinals and round robin finals to emerge as the winner in our Masters Only Special at T-Byrd Lanes. Mark defeated his first match play opponent, Brandon Wirtz, 430-379. He then ousted Chris Miletic 472-416 to advance to the round robin finals. Once there he fired games of 231, 255, and 197 to go along with his handicap and match play bonus pins for a total of 778 to easily outdistance Larry Lynd, who finished second at 684. It was Mark's fourth Master's title.

Champion's Profile: Mark Clark is 26 years old and engaged to be married to Mary Williams. Mark is employed as a Client Service Rep for Merrill Lynch. He has been bowling for 18 years and currently bowls league at Poplar Creek Bowl. His high game is 300 and he has a high series of 824. Mark was rolling a Track Enforcer drilled by Jose Torres at Action Pro Shop. Mark said that coaching from Danny Hayes helped him to better his game. Mark thanked Jason Wojnar for his support in keeping Mark focused this week. He also thanked Mary Williams for all her support, Tom and Linda Carter for hosting a wonderful tournament on a very challenging condition, and the ABT for running this special event. Mark said his winnings would be used for the ABC's in Reno. Mark also said that he loved this week's format and he dedicated this win to "Bear" Wojnar, who was recently injured in a serious accident.
