John Lee fired his first sanctioned 300 game on his way to a 789 series that earned him his second ABT Masters title in our 3-game sweeper at Sunset Bowl. Brian Vandenboom fired 720 to take second place.
Champion's Profile: John Lee is 26 years old, single, and currently unemployed. He has been bowling for about 16 years and currently bowls league at Lakes Bowl and Fairhaven Lanes. John was rolling a Storm Xit drilled by Jim Erickson at Sunset Bowl. John said that his dad, Harvey Lee, and Jim Gochis have helped him to improve his game. He thanked his dad and his friends Brian Vandenboom, Rick Riddle, and Peg George for all their support. John also thanked Jim and Pete Gochis and the ABT for providing competitive events to keep bowling interesting. John said he was very relieved to finally get his first sanctioned 300 game.
