*** kisala captures
classic crown***
|
Mark Kisala won his first ABT Classic title
by defeating Eric Koenen 194-174 at Habetler Bowl.
Chris Hammock opened the stepladder finals
by defeating Darrell Lewis 217-210. Bob Switzer then eliminated Hammock
233-173 before falling to Eric Koenen 259-160. The title match was really
decided in the first half as top seed Mark Kisala stayed clean while Eric
ran into spare trouble, missing three spares in the first five frames,
giving Mark a 41-pin lead. Eric tried to chip away in the second half but
Mark answered every challenge and went on to win by the final score of
194-174.

congratulations

Tournament Notes:
Our thanks go out to all members who came out to support our first event
at Habetler Bowl. Now that you know how easy it is to get there, we look
forward to bigger and better things when we go back in September. By the
way, Habetler's is scheduled for a complete makeover during the summer
months.
This week's ball raffle winner was Wayne
Kullman.
