Boots Kass won his first ABT Masters title
by defeating Gary Burian 221-194 at Habetler Bowl.
Rob Taylor opened the stepladder finals by
defeating Steve Foote 219-207. Boots Kaas then defeated Taylor 188-187 and
Steve Morrissey 238-184 to advance to the championship match against top
seed Gary Burian. Gary missed a spare in the first frame but came back
with a turkey in frames three through five to grab a slim three-pin lead.
Boots answered with a turkey of his own in frames four through six to
retake the lead and he held Gary off from there, going on to win by the
final score of 221-194.

Tournament Notes:
Our thanks go out to all members who came out to support our first event
at Habetler Bowl. Now that you know how easy it is to get there, we look
forward to bigger and better things when we go back in September. By the
way, Habetler's is scheduled for a complete makeover during the summer
months.
This week's ball raffle winner was Wayne
Kullman.
