Anthony Kaskadden won his first ABT Masters
title by defeating Devin Knabenbauer 238-221 at Bowling and Beyond
Arlington Heights.
Ron Sereyka opened the stepladder finals by
defeating Sheldon Mathis 212-211. He then eliminated Chad Kloss 229-228
before falling to Anthony Kaskadden 214-204. In the title match Anthony
started with a four-bagger to open up a 17-pin lead over top seed Devin
Knabenbauer. Tony missed a 10-pin in frame five allowing Devin to close
the gap to eight but Devin returned the favor by chopping the 3-6-10 in
frame six and Tony went right back up by 20. Devin doubled in the eighth
and ninth to cut into the lead again, but Tony closed the show with a
turkey in the tenth to win by the final score of 238-221.
