Roger Partynski won his third ABT Masters
title by defeating Gordon Brown 217-178 at Brunswick Zone Deer Park.
Bill Choporis opened the stepladder finals
by defeating Harvey Lee 262-197. Choporis then eliminated John Garrette
231-209 before falling to Roger Partynski 210-192. In the title match top
seed Gordon Brown just couldn't find the range on the championship pair as
he opened in three of the first four frames. Partynski took advantage of
the opportunity to build a 30-pin lead after four frames and he cruised
from there, going on to win by the final score of 217-178.
