*** Marack wins at Arlington lanes ***
|
Jennie Marack won her first ABT Classic
title by defeating Frank Kirchman 201-179 at Arlington Lanes.
Reid Flammang opened the stepladder finals
by defeating Jim Thorndike 214-180. Flammang then eliminated Lisa
Partynski 188-171 before falling to Frank Kirchman 211-206. In the title
match top seed Jennie Marack doubled in the fourth and fifth frames to
open a 15-pin lead over Frank Kirchman. Kirchman spared in the sixth to
stay close but consecutive splits in the seventh and eighth frames sealed
his fate as Jennie went on to win by the final score of 201-179.
