Deanna Camacho and Michael Fagan hooked up on the very last squad to post a 934 total to capture the $1,500 first prize in our doubles event at Bertrand Lanes. Michael was looking for a partner for the last squad and Deanna was hesitant to offer herself as a partner, thinking no one would want to bowl with a 131 average bowler. The ABT staff hooked them up and the rest, as they say, is history. Champion's Profiles: Deanna Camacho is 45 years old and employed as a cashier for White Hen Pantry. She is married to Jose and has a 15-year-old son, Christopher. Deanna has been bowling for four years and bowls league at Waveland Bowl. She has a high game of 151 that she bowled on her winning squad. Deanna thanked her partner, her husband Jose, and all the girls in the sign up room. Her winnings will be used to pay some bills. Michael Fagan is 44 years old and employed as a systems analyst for Kemper Insurance. He is married to Marilyn and has two sons, Mike and Matt, ages 19 and 17. Michael has been bowling since age eight and currently bowls league at 3D Bowl. He has a high game of 299 and a 772 high series to his credit. Michael thanked his partner, the ABT staff, and all his friends for their support. Michael said his winnings would be used for newly purchased his and her bicycles and a trip to Las Vegas for him and his wife. CONGRATULATIONS deanna and michael! |
