Michael Stewart earned his "black shirt" by
capturing his second Masters title in our 12th Anniversary event at Espo's
Entertainment Center. Michael barely made the finals qualifying for the
last spot in the top eight match play. He then advanced to the title match
by defeating Dean Mueller 312-200 and John Lee 269-171. His opponent for
the championship match was Griffin Taylor who qualified 6th, and advanced
with victories over Anthony Calarco 213-176 and Bobby Bass 207-195. The
title match was decided quickly as Michael struck in six of the first
seven frames and cruised to the 234-175 victory.

with his game. He thanked the ABT and Espo's for having the tournament.
Michael said that he is currently unemployed so his winnings will really

congratulations
michael!
Tournament Notes:
I want to thank all the volunteers who have stepped up their efforts to
ensure that our tournaments continue to operate smoothly during my
absence. I can't begin to tell you how greatly your efforts are
appreciated. I also want to thank all of the bowlers who showed up this
week to make our 12th Anniversary a memorable one. Walking into a full
house of bowlers on Sunday was the best medicine I could possibly have and
I am looking forward to getting back to you on a full time basis as soon
as possible.
