*** COLOSIMO AND VAN DRESER WIN DOUBLES ***

Chris Colosimo and Mike Van Dreser combined for an 897 total to capture their first ABT titles in our doubles event at Suburbanite Lanes. Chris led the way with a 413 scratch total while Mike added 396 to go with their 88-pin handicap to win by just ten pins over second place finishers Jennie Marack and Cindy Jenkins.

Champion's Profiles:

Chris Colosimo is 25 years old and engaged to be married to Michelle Sybirski. He is employed as a teacher at St. Charles High School in Milwaukee. Chris has been bowling since age five and is not currently bowling league. His high game is 300 and he has an 802 high series to his credit. Chris was using a Brunswick Fuze which he drilled himself. He credits his fiancée Michelle as having helped him with his game. Chris thanked Michelle for her support and his partner for hooking up with him. He also thanked the University of Wisconsin Whitewater Rec. Center for practice time and the ABT for a great job of running tournaments. Chris said his winnings would go towards his wedding this April 24th.

Mike Van Dreser is 23 years old and engaged to Julie Rassmussen. He is a student at the University of Wisconsin Whitewater and works as the student manager of the rec. center there. Mike has been bowling for three years and has a high game of 279 and a 669 high series to his credit. He was using a Columbia Throttle drilled by Kerry Schaeffer. Mike said that Chris Colosimo has been helping him to improve his game. He thanked his parents and fiancée for their support. He also thanked his partner and the rec. center for practice time. Mike said his winnings would go towards his wedding on April 9, 2005.
