Robert Finder and Roger Partynski combined
for a 973 total on the last squad to capture the $2,000.00 first prize in
our doubles event at Bertrand Lanes. Robert led the way with a 481 scratch
total and Roger added 434 to go along with their 58 pin handicap. It was
Finder's second ABT title and Partynski's fifth.
Champion's Profiles:
Robert Finder is 38 years old and employed
as a Technical Architect for Hewitt Association. He has been bowling for
10 years and currently bowls league at Brunswick Zone Deer Park. His high
game is 300 and he has a 798 high series to his credit. Robert was using a
Brunswick Inferno drilled by Mark London at Deer Park. He thanked the ABT
for the separate doubles format, his partner for bowling with him, and his
girlfriend Amanda for convincing him to bowl on Sunday. Robert said that
he liked the separate doubles better than the combination doubles and that
his winnings would be used for the Las Vegas Nationals.
Roger Partynski is 38 years old and employed
as a receiving associate at Home Depot. He has two children, Christina and
Mark. Roger has been bowling for 30 years and currently bowls league at
Espo's Entertainment Center. He has a 289 high game and a 767 high series
to his credit. Roger was using a Track Elite drilled by Carl Edelman. He
thanked the ABT staff and Bertrand's for having the event. He also thanked
his partner for hooking up with him. Roger said he really liked the
separate doubles and he wished that more Masters had shown up. My
sentiments exactly, Rog!
