Jim Aller won his second ABT title by defeating Wayne Malec 245-206 at AMF Bolingbrook Lanes.

Lisa Partynski opened the stepladder finals by defeating Rich Votava 243-229. J.C. Pittman then eliminated Lisa Partynski 236-212. In match three Jim Aller defeated J.C. Pittman 226-219 to advance to the title match against top seed Wayne Malec. Wayne Malec struck in three out of four frames to start the championship match but still found himself trailing by 20 pins as Jim Aller started with a four-bagger. Jim then turkeyed in frames six through eight to put the match away going on to win by the final score of 245-206.

Champion's Profile: Jim Aller is 38 years old and single. He is employed as a manager for UPS. Jim has been bowling for 12 years and currently bowls league at Wood Dale Bowl. He has a high game of 278 and a 714 high series to his credit. Jim said that Pete Tagalos has helped him with his game. He thanked the ABT and AMF Bolingbrook for having the tournament. Jim said he had no special plans for his winnings, he will just save it for a rainy day.
