***  BRYANT FIRST AT LAKEHURST ***

Eugene Bryant won his second ABT Classic title by defeating Scott Payne 210-207 at Brunswick Zone Lakehurst.

Scott Payne opened the stepladder finals by defeating Michael Aramburu 247-152. Scott then defeated Rebecca Kaskadden 242-199 and Bob Switzer 227-211 to earn his shot at the top seed Eugene Bryant. The title match was close but Scott missed a spare opportunity in the ninth frame and Eugene finished with just enough to come away with the 210-207 victory.

Champion's Profile: Eugene Bryant is 57 years old and employed as a registered nurse for the Lake County Health Dept. He has been bowling for 17 years and bowls leagues at Sunset and Brunswick Zone Lakehurst. Eugene has a high game of 279 and a 769 high series to his credit.
