*** Lewis wins at Arlington ***
|
Stephen Lewis won his sixth ABT title by
defeating Rick Hara 196-194 in our Summer Sizzler event at Arlington
Lanes.
Stephen qualified seventh for the match play
finals and advanced by defeating Gary Burian 238-205 and Tony Kaskadden
205-183. Rick was the top qualifier and he advanced by defeating Jason
Wojnar 223-192 and Tim Culp 224-163. The championship match was a hard
fought affair that came down to the final frame. Rick finished first with
a strike and a spare forcing Stephen to mark. Stephen was up to the task
as he converted the 2 pin then filled nine for the narrow 2-pin victory.
