Tony Sokolowski won his fourth ABT title by defeating Evan Ngo 220-213 at Espo's Entertainment Center. Tony was top seeded for the stepladder finals and had to wait while four other bowlers battled it out for the right to face him in the title match. In match one Richard Votava squeaked by Agnes Teodoro 180-179. In match two Evan Ngo eliminated Richard Votava 210-170. In match three Evan Ngo topped Frank Accardo 244-200 to earn his berth in the championship match. Evan had a 13-pin handicap advantage over Tony but Tony turkeyed in frames three through five to wipe that out. Both bowlers then matched marks the rest of the way as Tony went on to win by the 220-213 final score. Champion's Profile: Tony Sokolowski is 58 years old and employed as a comptroller for Bishop Plumbing Co. He is married to Linda and they have two children, Jenni and Daniel. Tony has been bowling for 38 years and bowls leagues at Stardust Bowl and Mont Clare Lanes. He has a high game of 289 and a 757 high series to his credit. Tony was using a Storm Deuce that he won in an ABT raffle, drilled by Joe Bacagaluppi at Back to Basics Pro Shop inside Espo's. Tony thanked his family for their support. He also thanked the staff at Espo's and the ABT staff. Tony said that "the ABT staff is great, without them there would be no club." congratulations Tony!
