*** Sereyka Wins Second Title ***
|
Ron Sereyka won his second ABT title in a
“power failure” shortened event at Brunswick Zone Woodridge. Just as the
finals were about to begin the power went out. After a two hour wait the
finals portion of the event was canceled and Ron was declared the winner
since he was the top qualifier after the semis.
Champion’s Profile: Ron Sereyka is 57
years old and employed as a driver. He is married to Kathy and has two
grown children, Steve and Stacey. Ron has been bowling for 45 years and
bowls leagues at AMF Bolingbrook, El Mar, and Hawthorn Lanes. His high
game is 300 and he has a 779 high series to his credit. Ron was using a
Lane 1 Uranium Buzz Saw that he had drilled at the ABC Nationals. Ron
thanked his wife for coming along this week for support. He also thanked
the ABT and Brunswick Zone for having the tournament. Ron said his
winnings would be used for Christmas presents.
congratulations
