John Kolodziej won his first Masters title and 4th ABT title by defeating Tom Sawyer 218-177 at eSkape Entertainment Center. In match one of the stepladder finals Steve Taylor defeated Dwight Bergner 246-237. In match two Steve Taylor defeated Michael Stewart 255-225. In match three John Kolodziej defeated Steve Taylor 228-202 to advance to the title match against top seed Tom Sawyer who shot a 300 game during the semis. The championship match was close for seven frames but John finished with a 5-bagger and Tom couldn’t keep pace giving John the victory by the final score of 218-177. Champion’s Profile: John Kolodziej is 47 years old and employed as a material planner for MPC Products. He is married to Terri and has been bowling since junior leagues. His high game is 290 and he has a 764 high series to his credit. John was using a Storm Reloaded drilled by Joe Bacagaluppi at Back to Basics Pro Shop inside BAMM. John said that Rich Flood has helped him to improve his game. He thanked his wife Terri, Frank and Jenny Marack, Mike and Yuki Love, and Herman Roebke for all their support.
