Wayne Kullman won his first ABT title by defeating Bill Tiritilli 185-159 at Stardust Bowl III. In match one of the stepladder finals James Peters Jr. defeated James Reed 236-183. In match two Bill Tiritilli defeated James Peters 173-159. In match three Bill Tiritilli defeated Scott O’Neill 277-212 to advance to the title match against top seed Wayne Kullman. The championship match was a see-saw affair with the lead changing hands several times but Wayne took the lead for good with a double in the 7th and 8th frames going on to win by the final score of 185-159. Champion’s Profile: Wayne Kullman is 52 years old and employed as a sheet metal worker for M.W.R.D.G.C. He has a 23-year old daughter named Carly and has been bowling for 20+ years. Wayne currently bowls at Stardust III and has a high game of 300 and a 781 high series to his credit. He was using a Storm Vertigo drilled by Bill Tuttle as S.R.C. Enterprises. Wayne thanked his best friend Janet Kulovitz for her support, Curt Jensen, the ABT, the staff at Stardust III, the spectators, and his brother Stash for watching the shop while he bowled.
