Robert Finder won his third ABT title by defeating Jim Pennino 229-219 at Wheaton Bowl. In match one of the stepladder finals Charles Kerr defeated Dan Glowacki 213-184. In match two Robert Finder defeated Charles Kerr 212-183. In match three Robert Finder defeated Don Czyznik 247-179 to advance to the championship match against top seed Jim Pennino. The title match was nip and tuck with Finder holding a 1-pin lead after 5 frames. Robert doubled in the 6th and 7th to up his lead to 10 and it stayed that way the rest of the way with Robert winning by the final score of 229-219. Champion’s Profile: Robert Finder is employed as a technical architect and is engaged to Amanda Culp. He has been bowling for 15 years and bowls league at Brunswick Zone Deer Park. Robert has a high game of 300 and a 798 high series to his credit. He was using Morich equipment drilled by Mark London at Deer Park. Robert said that lots of support from the Culp family has helped his game. He thanked them for all of their help and support and he also thanked the ABT and Wheaton Bowl for having the event. Robert said his winnings would be used for the ABT Spring Nationals in Las Vegas. Along with his title this week Robert also picked up and extra $500.00 by breaking a 295 Pot with a perfect 300 game.
