Josh Wastag won his second ABT title by defeating Amanda Culp 285-220 at AMF Rolling Meadows. In match one of the stepladder finals Amanda Culp defeated Bob Switzer 188-171. In match two Amanda Culp defeated Daniela Martorano 201-198. In match three Amanda Culp defeated Paul Donisch 189-173 to advance to the title match against top seed Josh Wastag. Amanda rolled her best game of the finals in the championship match but ran into a buzz saw as Josh Wastag rattled off seven in a row in frames 2-8 as he pulled away to the final 285-220 victory. Champion’s Profile: Josh Wastag is 23 years old and employed as an electrician. He is single and has been bowling for 5 years. Josh currently bowls league at Lakes Bowl and has a 279 high game and a 727 high series to his credit. He was using a Columbia Flip Side drilled by Joe Piagantini at Lakes Bowl. Josh said that lots of practice has helped him to improve his game. He thanked Lindsey Siegel for dragging him out this week along with the ABT staff and AMF Rolling Meadows for having the event.
