Nick Tsorvas won his first ABT title by defeating Darryl Lewis 192-161 at Stardust Bowl III. In match one of the stepladder finals Eric Zeedyk defeated Peggy Finn 197-169. In match two Nick Tsorvas defeated Eric Zeedyk 224-190. In match three Nick Tsorvas defeated Wayne Kullman 189-151 to advance to the championship match against top seed Darryl Lewis. Nick had a 30-pin handicap advantage to start the title match but Darryl chipped away and by the 7th frame Darryl cut the lead down to 20. Both bowlers struck in the 8th but Darryl opened in the 9th and 10th frames while Nick marked in the 10th to win by the final score of 192-161. Champion’s Profile: Nick Tsorvas is 28 years old and employed as an auto mechanic. He is married to Amy and has 3 children, Nikolas, Karlie, and Ben. Nick has been bowling for 2 years and currently bowls league at Brunswick Zone Glendale Heights. His high game is 244 and he has a 665 high series to his credit. Nick was using a Storm Eraser Boost drilled by Lynn Corey at Star Pro Shop in Addison. Nick thanked his family for their support along with the ABT and Stardust III for having the tournament.
