Tony Kaskadden won his second ABT title by defeating Tim Culp 257-231 at Brunswick Zone Deer Park. In match one of the stepladder finals J.S. Scaletta defeated Matt Stock 270-227. In match two Tim Culp defeated J. S. Scaletta 267-195. In match three Tim Culp defeated Mike Martenson Sr. 225-193 to advance to the championship match against top seed Tony Kaskadden. Both bowlers hit the pocket often in the title match but Tony was able to carry better winning by the final score of 257-231. Champion’s Profile: Tony Kaskadden is 43 years old and employed as a stationary engineer at Northwest Community Hospital. He is married to Becky and has 3 children, Kevin, Justin, and Anthony. Tony has been bowling for 30 years and bowls leagues at Rynish and Hawthorn Lanes. His high game is 300 and he has a 792 high series to his credit. Tony was using a Brunswick Zone Impulse drilled by Brian Chilcutt at Striking Difference Pro Shop inside Hawthorn Lanes. He credits his late brother Donnie, Mike Martenson Sr., and Brian Chilcutt as having helped him to improve his game. Tony thanked his wife Becky, his family, and his friends for their support, the ABT and Deer Park for having the event and the people who were watching from above. Tony said his winnings would be used for the ABC Nationals in Baton Rouge. In addition to his first place winnings Tony also picked up an additional $500.00 by breaking a 295 Pot.
