Hank Duncan won his third ABT title by defeating Charles Clark 254-206 at Centennial Lanes. Eric Floyhar opened the stepladder finals by defeating Russ Krueger 223-192. In match two Hank Duncan defeated Eric Floyhar 269-244. In match three Hank eliminated Scot Hardesty 234-195 to earn his shot at top seed Charles Clark. In the title match Hank strung a 4-bagger in frames 2-5 to build a commanding lead. Charles turkeyed in frames 6-8 to cut into the lead but Hank came right back with another 4-bagger in frames 7-10 to pull away to the final 254-206 victory. Champion’s Profile: Hank Duncan is 55 years old today, (Happy birthday Hank), and employed as a quality control food technician. He is married to Juanita and they have two children, Jada and Jorri. Hank has been bowling for 38 years and bowls leagues at M. L. King Bowl, Castaways, and Dolton Bowl. His high game is 300 and he has an 824 high series to his credit. Hank was using a Brunswick Raging Inferno drilled by Jose Torres at Action Pro Shop. He credits Edwin Trespeces for a recent tip that has helped him to line up better for the last couple of weeks. Hank thanked his wife for her support, the ABT and Centennial Lanes for having the tournament, and buddy Dave Williams for his support during the finals. Hank said his winnings would be used for the ABC Nationals in Baton Rouge. He also said he was happy to see the Chicagoland South Branch open. congratulations Hank!
