Andrae Zollicoffer won his first ABT title by defeating Pam Subin 203-202 at Classic Bowl.

In match one of the stepladder finals Jose Camacho defeated David Kass 183-176. In match two Pam Subin defeated Jose Camacho 186-181. In match three Pam Subin defeated Dave Fukumori 212-178 to advance to the championship match against top seed Andrae Zollicoffer. In the title match Andrae opened twice in the first five frames while Pam stayed clean to build a 35-pin lead. Andrae turkeyed in frames 6-8 and when Pam left a rail in the 8th the lead was down to 2 pins. Finishing last, Andrae needed to fill 19 pins in the 10th to claim his first title. He struck on his first ball then filled 9 to eke out the 1-pin victory.

Champion’s Profile: Andrae Zollicoffer is 28 years old and employed as a cargo loader for Evergreen Eagle. He is single and has a 6-year-old son named Andrae. Andrae has been back in bowling for a year and bowls league at Stardust Bowl in Addison. He has a high game of 300 and a 694 series to his credit. Andrae was using a Columbia Rip drilled by Star Pro Shop in Addison. He credits practice as having helped him to improve his game. Andrae thanked his mother for her support and said that he had no special plans for his winnings.
