Roger Partynski won his 5th ABT title by defeating Jack Keith 231-211 at Orland Bowl. In match one of the stepladder finals Jack Keith defeated Brian Casillas 209-143. In match two Jack Keith defeated John Maropoulos 215-188. In match three Jack eliminated Eric Floyhar 258-156 to advance to the title match against top seed Roger Partynski. Jack jumped out to the early lead in the final match but Roger turkeyed in frames 4-6 to erase the deficit and go up by 5 pins. A double for Roger in frames 8 and 9 upped his lead to 17 going into the 10th. Jack still had a chance needing a double in the 10th to pull out the win but a 7 pin on his first shot ended the match with Roger winning by the final score of 231-211. Champion’s Profile: Roger Partynski is 39 years old and employed as a warehouse worker. He has 2 children, Christina and Mark, ages 10 and 5. Roger has been bowling for 31 years and bowls league at Woodview Lanes. His high game is 300 and he has a 767 high series to his credit. Roger was using Visionary equipment drilled by Joe Bacagaluppi at Back to Basics Pro Shop inside Woodview Lanes. Roger thanked the ABT and Orland Bowl, Darrell Lewis, and all the guys he crossed with during the semifinals. Roger said his winnings would be used for the Chicagoland Open and a party for his nephew. congratulations Roger!
