***Taylor Wins Third Title***

Earmon Taylor won his third ABT title by defeating Mark Kisala 200-185 at Willowbrook Lanes.

Mark Kisala opened the stepladder finals by defeating Sam Getta 206-179. Mark then defeated Kenneth Hardy 199-137 and Robert Lichter 184-167 to advance to the championship match against top seed Earmon Taylor. The title match was even after 5 frames but Mark missed a couple of spares in the second half of the match while Earmon missed just once to account for the final 200-185 victory.

Champion’s Profile: Earmon Taylor is 61 years old and retired. He is married to Shirley and they have 3 grown children, Michael, Karla, and Chernice. Earmon has been bowling for 40 years and bowls league at Brunswick Zone Homewood. His high game is 289 and he has a 721 high series to his credit. Earmon was using a Storm X-Factor drilled by Joe Harrell at Skyway Bowl. He thanked Frank and Joyce Edwards for predicting his win. Earmon also thanked the ABT and Willowbrook Lanes for having the event. Earmon said his winnings would be used for more ABT Tournaments.
