Rudy Castro won his first ABT title by defeating Scott Pollack 168-153 at Lakeside Lanes. In match one of the stepladder finals Bill McEben defeated Gwen Torres 215-183. In match two Scott Pollack defeated Bill McEben 223-211. In match three Scott Pollack defeated Becky Kaskadden 207-184 to advance to the championship match against top seed Rudy Castro. Scott had a 32-pin handicap advantage to start the title match but 5 consecutive opens in the middle of the match gave Rudy all the room he needed to erase Scott’s advantage and win by the final score of 168-153.
