Le Roy Williams won his second ABT title by working his way past 4 opponents at AMF Classic Lanes. Le Roy started his climb by defeating Jerry Novak 226-202. Next up was Scott O’Neill who fell by the score of 224-189. Match 3 was Le Roy’s closest as he squeaked by Herman Roebke 216-213. In the title match James Reed chopped the 6-10 in the 3rd and 4th frames allowing Le Roy to build a 28-pin lead and he held on from there winning by the final score of 202-189. Champion’s Profile: Le Roy Williams is 28 years old and employed as an accountant. He is engaged to Myeasha and has 3 children, Shalik, Shamya, and Destiny. Le Roy has been bowling for 6 years and bowls league at Lakewood Bowl. He has a 265 high game and a 783 high series to his credit. Le Roy was using a Lane One Cherry Bomb drilled by Tim Butterfield at Lakewood Bowl. He thanked the ABT, AMF Classic Lanes, and Mike Fryer.
