John Scaletta won his seventh ABT title by defeating Harvey Lee 217-192 at Lakeside Lanes. John qualified 6th for the top 8 finals and advanced by defeating Chad Billy 270-206 and Don Czyznik 252-200. Harvey Lee qualified 5th and he advanced by defeating Don Dahm 225-209 and John Kolodziej 197-195. In the title match Harvey opened in 3 of the first 5 frames allowing John to build a 20-pin lead and he never looked back going on to win by the final score of 217-192. Champion’s Profile: John Scaletta is 56 years old and employed as a supervisor for National Bank of Commerce. He is married to Linda and they have 2 grown children, Lisa and John S. John has been bowling for 48 years and currently bowls league at Woodview, Stardust, and River Rand. His high game is 300 and he has a high series of 835 to his credit. John was using a Brunswick Smokin’ Inferno drilled by Will Clark at Bowlers ER Pro Shop. He credits his wife Linda and his son J.S. as having helped him with his game.
