ABT director Steve Abramowicz congratulating Champion Lisa Simon

*** Simon Wins Sweeper Event ***

Lisa Simon won her first ABT title by posting a 764 handicap series in our 3-game beat the board event at Lakewood Bowl. Lisa barely squeaked by Tim Culp who posted a 763 on the same squad to take home second place money.

Champion’s Profile: Lisa Simon is 38 years old (today) and employed as a contract specialist for H.U.D. She has 2 children, Tyrone and Javonnie, ages 12 and 7. Lisa has been bowling for 9 years and currently bowls league at Lakewood Bowl. She has a high game of 230 and a 612 high series to her credit. Lisa was using a Columbia Flip Side drilled by Tim Butterfield. She credits Darrell Lewis as having helped her to improve her game. Lisa thanked God, the ABT, Lakewood Bowl and her family and friends for all their support. Her winnings will go towards the purchase of a new home. Lisa said that she really enjoys bowling in the ABT and was especially happy to see the South Branch open.

CONGRATULATIONS Lisa!
