David Sebby won his second ABT title by defeating Paul Johnson 223-192 at Echo Lanes. In match one of the stepladder finals Steve Koszola Jr. defeated Laurie Patton 214-167. In match two Chris Garcia defeated Steve Koszola Jr. 256-212. In match three Paul Johnson defeated Chris Garcia 210-190 to advance to the championship match against top seed David Sebby. David doubled to start the title match and open a 16-pin lead over Paul. He held his lead through most of the match then doubled in the 9th and 10th frames to put the match away by the final score of 223-192. Champion’s Profile: David Sebby is 57 years old and employed as a grain worker. He has been bowling for 30 years and currently bowls league at Hometown Lanes. David has a high game of 268 and a 724 high series to his credit. He was using a Dynothane Pure Energy drilled by Steve Ford at Hometown Lanes. David thanked Steve Ford for coaching him. He also thanked the ABT and Echo Lanes for having the event.
