Keith Kroll won his second ABT title by defeating Dwight Bergner 262-189 at Antioch Lanes. Dwight Bergner opened the stepladder finals by defeating Tim Culp 264-247. In match two Dwight eliminated Rich Arens 275-204. In match three Dwight ousted Jim Kedroski 275-240 to advance to the championship match against top seed Keith Kroll. Dwight carried well in his first 3 matches but lost his touch in the title match as Keith cruised to the 262-189 final score. Champion’s Profile: Keith Kroll is 39 years old and employed as a manager at Egg Harbor Café. He is engaged to Renee and has 3 children, Brauley, Austin, and Kelly. Keith has been bowling since age 4 and currently bowls leagues at AMF Rolling Meadows and Hawthorn Lanes. His high game is 300 and he has a 791 high series to his credit. Keith was using an Ebonite Big One drilled by Brian Chilcutt at Striking Difference Pro Shop inside Hawthorn Lanes. He credits Bill Spigner as having helped him to improve his game. Keith thanked his fiancée Renee for her support. He also thanked the ABT staff and volunteers for another job well done and Antioch Lanes for hosting the event. Keith said his winnings would be used for Vegas and he congratulated Dwight Bergner on a nice run during the finals. CONGRATULATIONS Keith!
