Vic Valela won his second ABT title by defeating Brenda White 207-184 at Stardust Bowl III. In match one of the stepladder finals Bill Tiritilli defeated Cornelius Parks 236-179. In match two James Reed defeated Bill Tiritilli 206-165. In match three Vic Valela defeated James Reed 239-196 to advance to the championship match against top seed Brenda White. Brenda held the lead for the first 5 frames of the title match but opened in 4 of the last 5 frames allowing Vic to come from behind for the 207-184 victory. Champion’s Profile: Vic Valela is 56 years old and currently unemployed. He is married to Carole and has two children, Gina and Lisa, and two granddaughters. Vic has been bowling since juniors and currently bowls league at Thunder Bowl. He has a high game of 279 and a 718 high series to his credit. Vic was suing a Columbia Wow drilled by Joe Bacagaluppi at Back to Basics Pro Shop inside Woodview Lanes. Besides bowling Vic also enjoys playing golf.
