Eric Floyhar won his first Chicagoland title and 5th ABT title overall by defeating Brett Bukowinski 188-169 at Stardust Bowl III. Brett Bukowinski opened the stepladder finals by defeating Vic Alexander 224-222. He then eliminated Josh Adams 205-185 and Kevin Kullman 192-163 to reach the title match against top seed Eric Floyhar. Both bowlers struggled in the championship match but Eric managed a couple of doubles in the second half of the game to pull out the 188-169 victory. Champion’s Profile: Eric Floyhar is 30 years old and employed as a restaurant manager for Burger King. He has been bowling for 25 years and currently bowls leagues at Centennial Lanes and Stardust Bowl III. His high game is 300 and he has an 880 high series to his credit. Eric was using and Ebonite Big One drilled by Warren Friedl at Centennial Lanes. Besides bowling Eric also enjoys playing video gmes. He thanked the ABT and Stardust III for having the event and Brett Bukowinski for sponsoring him in this week’s event.
