Nick Guyor won his first ABT title by defeating John Bagal 251-235 at Strike’ N Spare II. In match one of the stepladder finals Gene Kanak defeated Cornelius Parks 221-189. In match two John Bagal defeated Gene Kanak 246-245. In match three John Bagal defeated Laurie Patton 204-159 to advance to the championship match against top seed Nick Guyor. John struck in 4 of the first 5 frames of the title match to take a 23-pin lead but Nick used a 4-bagger in frames 4-7 and a turkey in the last 2 frames to come from behind and win by the final score of 251-235. Champion’s Profile: Nick Guyor is 24 years old and employed as an insurance adjuster. He is married to Laura and they are expecting their first child. Nick has been bowling since youth leagues and currently bowls league at Gala Lanes in Kankakee. He has a high game of 289 and a 759 high series to his credit. Nick was using a Brunswick Y2K drilled by Ron Lancaster. He thanked his wife Laura for all her support and said that his winnings would be used for vacation. congratulations Nick!
