Joe Ambrosini won his second consecutive title by climbing the ladder at AMF Bolingbrook Lanes. Joe started his climb by defeating Mike Scholl 218-170. In match two he eliminated John Sypniewski 282-202. In match three Joe got by Sheldon Mathis 220-211 to earn his shot against top seed Russ Krueger. Joe turkeyed to start the title match and open an 18-pin lead over Russ after three frames and he never looked back going on to win by the final score of 236-188. Champion’s Profile: Joe Ambrosini is 25 years old and employed as a foreman for local 701 of the electricians union. He is married to Kate and has been bowling for 5 years. Joe currently bowls at Strike’N Spare Lanes and has a high game of 300 and a 784 high series to his credit. He was using an Ebonite Triple XL drilled by Rich Moores. Joe thanked the ABT and AMF Bolingbrook for having the event and the spectators who cheered him on during the finals.
