Derrick Allen won his first ABT title by posting a 775 handicap total in our sweeper at Lakewood Bowl. James Peters Jr. was second with a 749 total and Maurice Mitchell was right behind at 744 to take third. Champion’s Profile: Derrick Allen is 39 years old and employed as a chemical process operator for Hexion Chemical. He is married to Pamela and has two children, Stacey and Jai, ages 21 and 16. Derrick has been bowling for 4 years and is not bowling any leagues right now. He has a high game of 256 and a 720 high series to his credit. Derrick was using an Ebonite One drilled by Brian Spiller at Stars and Strikes Pro Shop inside AMF Bolingbrook Lanes. Besides bowling Derrick also enjoys golf. He thanked his coach, John Dill, and Stacey and Jai, his biggest supporters. Derrick said his winnings would be used for more bowling equipment. congratulations Derrick!
