The championship match had to go “extra innings” as the first match ended in a 223 tie forcing a one game roll-off. In the roll-off Dean strung a 5-bagger in frames 2-6 to pull away from Ron going on to win by the final score of 247-199. Champion’s Profile: Dean Mueller is 42 years old and employed as a receiving manager for Barnes and Noble. He is married to Anna and has three children, Robert, Krishel and Tony. Dean has been bowling for 35 years and currently bowls leagues at Hawthorn Lanes and Brunswick Zone Niles. His high game is 300 and he has an 804 high series to his credit. Dean was using a Storm Hot Rod drilled by Jeff Daggett at Strike Zone Pro Shop. He credits Bill Spigner as having helped him to improve his game.
