Leroy Walker Jr. won his third ABT title by defeating Randy Aberle 236-202 at Hawthorn Lanes. In match one of the stepladder finals Tony Kaskadden defeated Brandon Harris 237-234. In match two Tony Kaskadden defeated Tracy Pietrucha 217-194. In match three Leroy Walker Jr. defeated Tony Kaskadden 241-189 to advance to the title match against top seed Randy Aberle. The championship match stayed close for the first six frames but Leroy doubled in the 7th and 8th then again in the 10th to pull away to the final 236-202 victory. Champion’s Profile: Leroy Walker Jr. is 47 years old and employed as a road construction laborer. He has been bowling for 30 years and currently bowls leagues in five different centers. His high game is 300 and he has a746 high series to his credit. Leroy was using a Brunswick Intense Inferno drilled by Jim Erickson at Sunset Bowl. He thanked the ABT and Hawthorn for having the event and all the spectators for their support during the finals. Leroy said that part of his winnings would go to his mom for Mothers Day. He also said he was glad to finally win in the Masters. CONGRATULATIONS Leroy!
