Roger Partynski won his 7th ABT title by defeating Gary Burian 218-189 at Classic Bowl.

Jerome Woodfork opened the stepladder finals by defeating Paul Lee 217-200. Gary Burian then defeated Jerome Woodfork 212-191 and Dean D’Alessandro 216-197 to earn his shot at top seed Roger Partynski. Gary took a 15-pin lead after 4 frames of the title match but Roger strung a 4-bagger in frames 5-8 to come from behind and win the match by the final score of 218-189.

Champion’s Profile: Roger Partynski is 40 years old and employed as a warehouse worker. He has two children, Christina and Mark, ages 11 and 6. Roger has been bowling for 32 years and currently bowls league at Poplar Creek Bowl. His high game is 300 and he has a 767 high series to his credit. He was using an Ebonite Big One drilled by Leon Buroff at Lombard Lanes. Roger thanked the ABT and Classic Bowl for having the event. He said his winnings would be used for the USBC Nationals and the Chicagoland Open.
