Adrian Maiden Jr. won his first ABT title by defeating Tony Pezzulo 212-170 at Echo Lanes. In match one of the stepladder finals Steve Koszola defeated Cliff Curl 202-183. In match two Adrian Maiden Jr. defeated Steve Koszola 270-198. In match three Adrian defeated Mike Byczynski 255-229 to advance to the championship match against top seed Tony Pezzulo. Tony left a couple of “Greek churches” in the title match giving Adrian all the room he needed to cruise to the 212-170 victory. Champion’s Profile: Adrian Maiden Jr. is 36 years old and employed as a service technician for Martin Whalen Office Supplies. He is married to Roxanne and they have 5 children, Lonyea, Adrian III, Andre, Michelle and Miles. Adrian has been bowling for 26 years and currently bowls league at Gala Lanes in Kankakee. His high game is 300 and he has a 765 high series to his credit. Adrian was using a Brunswick Ignitor drilled by Steve Rogers. He thanked the Lord for giving him the ability to win and said that his winnings would be used for the Chicagoland Open. congratulations Adrian!Tournament Notes: Congratulations to Cliff Curl who broke a 295 Pot worth $286.00 this week.
