***Maiden Wins at Echo***

Adrian Maiden Jr. won his first ABT title by defeating Tony Pezzulo 212-170 at Echo Lanes.

In match one of the stepladder finals Steve Koszola defeated Cliff Curl 202-183. In match two Adrian Maiden Jr. defeated Steve Koszola 270-198. In match three Adrian defeated Mike Byczynski 255-229 to advance to the championship match against top seed Tony Pezzulo. Tony left a couple of “Greek churches” in the title match giving Adrian all the room he needed to cruise to the 212-170 victory.

Champion’s Profile: Adrian Maiden Jr. is 36 years old and employed as a service technician for Martin Whalen Office Supplies. He is married to Roxanne and they have 5 children, Lonyea, Adrian III, Andre, Michelle and Miles. Adrian has been bowling for 26 years and currently bowls league at Gala Lanes in Kankakee. His high game is 300 and he has a 765 high series to his credit. Adrian was using a Brunswick Ignitor drilled by Steve Rogers. He thanked the Lord for giving him the ability to win and said that his winnings would be used for the Chicagoland Open.
